PJP INVESTMENTS GROUP
“ That’ s how programmes like Dough Talks, RISE and Women LeadHERship became more than PJP HR initiatives; they became movements driven by people who genuinely believe in them.”
For Melitsa, this approach is particularly vital in an industry historically known for high turnover rather than deep talent development. QSR relies heavily on frontline teams who are often at the start of their careers. She wants PJP to be proof that a QSR operator can invest in its workforce and do it exceptionally well.
Building the playbook from first principles When Melitsa joined PJP Investments Group in March 2025, she didn’ t inherit a mature, pre-packaged corporate structure. Instead, she saw the opportunity to bring two decades of global corporate experience into a nimble, fast-growing business that was actively writing its own growth narrative. Rather than inheriting an established playbook, she stepped into the role to build one from the ground up, shaping the culture, governance and leadership practices required for massive regional expansion.
“ When I joined PJP, HR was primarily viewed as an operational function focused on recruitment, compliance and employee relations,” she explains.
“ Today, it has become a strategic partner contributing directly to executive conversations about growth, leadership capability and organisational resilience.
