Chris Nielsen is executive Vice President of Supply Chain, Chief Supply Chain Officer and Chief Quality Officer for Toyota Motor North America. He oversees purchasing, logistics, quality, integrated planning and control, innovation and strategy, service parts and accessories and Toyota Production System development. Since joining Toyota in 1987, Chris has held leadership roles across purchasing, manufacturing and corporate strategy, including leading Toyota Motor Manufacturing Texas and serving in Japan as the first American in Toyota’ s management expatriation programme. He serves on several corporate and industry boards and holds degrees from Kettering University and The Wharton School.
