VERTICE WATCH NOW
Ana, the autononmous negotiation agent from Vertice – Intro video
The strongest use case, in his view, is the capacity problem: taking on work that human teams do not have time to handle but that still carries potential savings or risk. At intake, agents screen every request against existing contracts and benchmarks before it moves forward. In supplier management, they monitor every vendor for risk, rather than just the biggest. In finance, they check each invoice against what was actually negotiated and flag early-payment discounts and opportunities to improve payment terms that nobody had time to look for.
At least 80 % of Vertice’ s customers use its agents daily, Eldar says, while he points to Gartner’ s prediction that within two years 90 % of B2B buying will involve AI agents.“ It might be considered a buzzword now, but there’ s no denying that agentic procurement is starting to routinely deliver the results and reliability to make it mainstream”, he says.
Ana and the tail spend problem Ana was built because every procurement team hits the same ceiling. Attention goes to the contracts at the top, while the rest go largely unexamined.
