CEO Eldar Tuvey on how Vertice’ s advancements, such as its Ana negotiation agent and new P2P capabilities, will provide procurement with greater foresight
rocurement technology has long been sold on making processes faster, more controlled and more compliant. Eldar Tuvey, Founder and CEO of Vertice, believes the sector should be judged on something bigger: the outcomes it delivers to the business.
Following the Vendr acquisition, the launch of the Ana autonomous negotiation agent and a new Procure-to-Pay( P2P) offering, he tells Procurement Magazine how Vertice is moving finance and procurement teams from reporting on the past to predicting what comes next.
It is an ambitious pitch, and one shaped as much by customers as by Vertice itself, with Eldar crediting customer demand for the company’ s biggest moves, from autonomous negotiation to P2P. What follows is his account of how Vertice’ s data, agents and platform fit together, and where he thinks the industry is heading.
From reporting to foresight Eldar argues that what separates Vertice from other procurement technology is where it makes an impact and guarantees outcomes for customers. Procuretech, he says, is largely sold on making processes faster, more controlled and more compliant, and on how efficiently teams perform their roles.
