VERTICE
“ There is so much more potential than this,” he says. Vertice aims to widen and elevate what finance and procurement contribute to the business: hard cost savings, increased capacity, optimised working capital and predictive budgeting, alongside the everyday improvements of speed and efficiency.
That ambition rests on a simple observation about the market today.“ Most procurement technology is retrospective: it reports what already happened, neatly, but too late to make a difference going forward,” Eldar says.
What customers keep asking for instead is foresight: where supplier risk is building, what a price is likely to do before it does it and what a commitment will cost them two quarters out. They want it at every stage, from somebody raising a request through to the invoice being paid. Reporting on the past, Eldar argues, limits a team’ s impact on the business. The ability to predict what will happen in 24 months, spot opportunities and plan for problems before they materialise expands the opportunities to contribute almost exponentially. His aim is stated plainly:“ We want finance and procurement teams to see further and act sooner.”
Scaling fast against the incumbents When Procurement Magazine last spoke to Eldar in March 2025, Vertice had just raised US $ 50m in its Series C round. That was only 18 months ago, he notes, but much has changed.
“Every generation of P2P until now was designed to pay invoices. Ours is the first to be built and equipped to give them total context”
Eldar Tuvey CEO Vertice
The company now describes itself as an intelligent procurement platform, running from request through to payment.
Revenue is up threefold over two years and headcount has grown to more than 400. The customer base spans more than 100 countries, is doubling every year and, Eldar says, is made up of larger customers every month.
One recent milestone was the IDC MarketScape, in which Vertice was named a Leader in AI-enabled spend orchestration. For Eldar, the most gratifying part was achieving that in such a fast-growing and dynamic market against incumbents who have been in it for years.
He says the recognition reflects Vertice’ s leadership in AI procurement, built on putting its proprietary pricing intelligence, which he describes as the largest dataset of its kind in the world, directly into procurement processes so that customers can make better purchasing decisions with clarity on their future spend.
