VERTICE
Vertice London team kick-off
That word,‘ proprietary’, matters to him. Vertice owns its own data, has complete control over how it is gathered, how current it is and how it is used, and it does not depend on third-party agreements that can change, lapse or end.“ When you rely on partners, you only see what they choose to share, and you can lose it overnight,” he says.
Vertice’ s dataset includes the call transcripts and email dialogues from every one of those quarter of a million negotiations, every price, lever and sales tactic that thousands of vendors have used, and the redlines and terms of every contract.
It is that richness, he says, that makes the data“ enormously additive” at every stage of the indirect buying process.
“ It provides context and guardrails at the point of request, benchmarks and informs negotiations, and gives our agents – especially Ana, our autonomous negotiation agent – an unequalled depth of training.” Because Vertice owns the data outright, it can train its agents on the full detail of every negotiation, something that is far harder when the underlying data belongs to someone else.
The dataset has been a differentiator for Vertice in spend optimisation and Intake-to-Pay( I2P), Eldar adds, and will now be one of its key differentiators in P2P.
