Q. WHAT IS A FORCE FOR CHANGE?

» A Force for Change really encompasses the mindsets that we have instilled across Thai Union. We have come a long way since 2016, and have recognised that small actions can trigger large-scale industry change.

Today we are reaping the benefits from decisions that were made back in 2016. A Force for Change is there to demonstrate the actual impact that our sustainability approach and plan is creating. It’ s creating a force for change across Thai Union’ s operations, for our suppliers we work with, from the vessels and farms that we source from, but also across our customer and retailer base.
For example, in some of our largest markets, consumers can scan one of the products from our brands to reveal the traceability information, or where that product came from. Giving consumers visibility into where their food comes from – group of vessels or even a single vessel – helps put the responsible choice within easy reach.
A Force for Change encompasses a high level of energy, ambition and motivation, to deliver on our sustainability plan, not just for Thai Union, but also for the industry at large.
